Betty Mon, Esq., Chief Executive Officer/Senior Strategist
Betty Mon has intertwined her passion for promoting the rich Asian heritage in the Greater Philadelphia region while running her business consulting firm in which clients benefit from her guidance and insight in building and elevating their business performance. As an attorney, an entrepreneur, and community leader, her commitment to the business arena extends beyond helping businesses succeed. Her ability to leverage among a growing network of diversified relationships is a much sought after resource creating greater access to and availability of meaningful opportunities to those operating in the niche markets.
Prior to relocating to Philadelphia, Mon had a distinguished career in the field of taxation as a business Consultant. She worked with the Department of Revenue and later served a wide range of corporations as a state and local tax attorney. She provided tax advisory and consultative services to Fortune 500-sized to middle-market clients. She was the architect on a number of paradigms, and a frequently sought after speaker on tax issues as well as other non-tax topics.
Mon is an attorney licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. Mon received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College, her Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School, and her Legum Magister in Taxation from Temple University-Beasley School of Law.
At Mon & Associates, she has gained a growing list of accomplishments merging the business community with the non-business world through a series of carefully integrated initiatives. She spearheaded a number of programs in the Philadelphia region. She's produced festivals and other networking events. These festivals showcase her efforts towards fusing business, heritage, culture, education, and tourism initiatives using creative and innovative paradigms that have become her signature. Mon currently serves actively on a number of civic and business organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region.
